i was just reminded by a wonderful friend how important it is to know about the things that are happening. all of the little things that are going on in the fashion industry- through the blogosphere, through print publications (new and old), the migrations of people to new places and new jobs and new lives, the feeling of the time- (which for women, too regularly, is re-assessed four times a year).
it is a small world, and to make a difference in it it is imperative to be aware of how it exists now. how do you begin to change something when you are not informed about it- how do you even begin to see the problems in a system you don't understand.
and so i have set up a new information regime.
and another lesson will be to learn to filter it.
